CCTV video-footage Shooting an attempted heist #Diamond dealler

We discovered that the murder of a shuttle driver near OR Tambo International Airport last week was an attempted diamond heist but the gunmen escaped without any jewels.
It’s emerged that the shuttle was followed from the Diamond Centre in downtown Johannesburg before the vehicle was forced to stop.
The driver was shot before being pulled from the vehicle and left to die on the highway. No arrests have yet been made.
Chairman of the Diamond Dealers Club, Ernie Blom says surveillance footage shows the six Indian businessmen being tailed from the Diamond Centre.
While Fordsburg shuttle driver Shakeel Mohammed died after being shot, Blom says the gunmen escaped almost empty handed.

“They assumed that there must have been diamonds in the briefcases of the men but they were just there on a tender, so they didn’t have any valuables with them, other than their passports which were taken, cellphones and some loose cash they had in their wallets.
“The only thing that they have lost, which is quite expensive, is the equipment that they use to assess various diamonds.”
While Blom says these robberies are not a regular occurrence there have been several violent robberies, hijackings and shootings of people followed from the centre over the last few years.
